In the 1980s, Scott co-created The Abalone Village in Ukiah — a practice ritual village that gathered on solstices and equinoxes, shared potluck work parties, and wove seven years of real community. A second village followed in Eureka. Soul Cultivation Now is the living continuation of that lineage — the same village impulse, extended into the digital commons.
